Mexican mythology

 There is a different believe in ghost in Mexican culture. The modern state of people is believed by the concept of Maya and Nahua. Their belief is evolved from Catholic believes of Spain and combined with some of their super natural world. 

According to Aztec, the people in Mexico belives that the soul is send one of the place among these three - Tlalocan, Mictalan, and the sun. 

The person who dies in any battles or the women who die by childbirth will rebirth as hummingbird in the earth again which folow the sun in their  life journey. 

Souls with less glorious cause would go to Micltan wich is considered the lower level of the underworld and reaching thier is not a simple one. It is believed that it takes 4 years to reach that place along with many difficult  obstacles. 

The drowned one will get the place in Tlalocan which is the first level. Of upper world. 

The women who die by childbirth would appear in earth again in by 5 specific date in Aztec calendar and steal all those children whom they had not been able to have themselves.

To avoid the disturbance of such ghost and to give them. Peace of mind The day of dead is observed on November 2nd by providing gold, silver, food, beverage etc which satisfy them. 

This prevent them from coming to the earth again.
